“ I just wanted to thank you for the inspection you did on our new home. To give you an update, we had a specialist come out and give us an estimate on installing a dewatering system. They quoted us a price of $2700.00+tax and were willing to give it a 25 year warranty that there wouldn‘t be standing water. We went back to the sellers wanting $3000.00+new water tank+furnace maintenance. They came back and will give us $3300.00 at closing for the fixes. They weren‘t happy, but with your report and pictures they were kinda in a bind knowing that if they didn‘t fix it for us they would probably have to have it done for the next buyers.
